Hi Jazz; I just had a rear tire blow-out at 50 mph, so I have an idea how you felt when the belt snapped. Please keep us informed as to how you replaced the belt and how much they cost. Somehow, I had the idea that the belt should last a lot longer than 30,000 miles. I keep mine at about 1/2 inch tension midway between the pulleys with the bike on the side-stand. Very important is the alignment of the belt in the rear pulley, it should not crowd against one side of the pulley but the space should be equal on both sides and can be easily seen if you block the bike up and rotate the wheel by hand looking down on the pulley. Let us know how you make out, thanks. Frank M.
